How It Works

When it comes to your event, we strive to create an enjoyable and stress-free experience. If you are placing a stationery order through our website, here's some insight into what you can expect from purchase to delivery. When should I place my order?

Online Order Timelines

Curious about how long your order will take? This short and sweet breakdown has you covered. Please bear in mind any delays in providing feedback, approving your design, or supplying guest names & addressing may impact the timelines listed below.

Letterpress

Order 6-7 weeks before sending. The design process averages 1-2 weeks, while production time can range from 2-3 weeks.

Digital Print

Order 4-5 weeks before sending. The design process averages 1-2 weeks, while production time can range from 1-2 weeks.

wedding day items

Order 5-6 weeks ahead. To ensure wedding day items are ready in time, we ask for production approval at least three weeks before the date you need them.

handmade paper items

Tack on an additional 2 weeks to any timeline. Handmade paper is custom-crafted just for you.

Place your Order

After placing your order on our website, you will receive an email with a link to a questionnaire to provide your event details and special requests.

When you finish the questionnaire, we will design the first version of your order within three business days and email the draft to you for review.

Changes & Approval

After receiving your proof, you may request changes to your colours, wording, and card shape.

You will receive 2 rounds of revisions after your initial proof, but typically only 1 round is needed before your stationery is approved for production. Revisions will be completed within two business days.

Production

Once you have approved your proof, we will send your order to production. We produce some things in-house and have a trusted boutique print shop for the rest, so we can focus on your beautiful designs.

Production times vary depending on your order, but will typically take between 2-3 weeks, plus extra time for any handmade paper.

Delivery

Once your stationery is done and looking fabulous, we'll give it a final once-over and carefully pack it up. Then, it's time for an epic journey as your order finds its way to you from us in the middle of Canada. When it arrives, start making memories by mailing your invites or getting everything ready for your special day!

Print Methods

Digital Print

Digital printing is the term to describe where the ink lays flat on the card. A cost-effective and versatile option, digital printing is available in full colour, black or white ink.

Production time:

  • 5-10 business days from design approval. The fastest print method if you need your invitations in a hurry.

letterpress

Letterpress is the real deal! It's an authentic, analogue process where your design is etched into a plate and then stamped into thick paper. End result? A tactile quality that makes letterpress stationery unforgettable.

Production time:

  • 15 business days from design approval.

Foil Press

This is the beautiful shiny gold you’ve probably seen...but gold isn’t the only option. Foil pressing involves stamping your design through a metallic foil, leaving behind a luxurious shiny finish that reflects and sparkles in the light.

Production time:

  • 15 business days from design approval.

Paper Types

The papers we print on are carefully selected from the finest paper mills around the world. For custom design projects we can source a paper stock specific to your needs.

110# Premium Card

For all our digitally printed pieces, a premium cotton or coloured cardstock is utilized with paper weights ranging from 110# cover to 130# cover.

220# double thick

A luxurious 100% cotton paper with a pillowy texture that takes the impression of letterpress and foil beautifully. Available as pictured here in natural white, or alternatively, bright white.

Handmade paper

Beautiful deckled edges, and so much texture, the handmade paper we use is created by a small paper studio in the USA. Each sheet is slightly different than the next and will vary in texture, thickness and size. Available in a wide range of colours.
